What's this all about?

The Hoboken Cove Boathouse is aimed at getting a non-profit public boathouse for the people of Hoboken.

As a completely volunteer-run non-profit organization, we provide free kayaking and small non-motorized boat access to the Hudson River.  During the summer of 2005 we will once again hold free kayaking days at Frank Sinatra Park. These popular events are free, fun, and open to the public.

Kids under 16 can go for a paddle in a safe, stable 2-person sit-on-top kayak (along with a parent or responsible adult).

Starting in 2008 or 2009, we hope you will join us on the water at new boathouse located on the north end of town on the water near 1600 Park St. This protected cove is being transformed by the City into a new 10-acre park with playgrounds, open space, river views, and a City dock for small non-motorized boat access. Our new home will allow us to offer a greatly expanded schedule and more activities, all free!

To make this boathouse a reality for all Hoboken residents, we need your help.
